P.T.A. (Parent/Teacher Association)-1st Tuesday of the month @ 6pm in the Parent Room (Unless stated otherwise in the weekly At-A-Glance Newsletter)
Come join us and be a part of making Sundale the best it can be for our children! Help plan upcoming events, bring your ideas, assist in trouble-shooting, learn from others, laugh with others, and together make decisions that will benefit our children. Get on board one of our many committees such as Hospitality-that serves food at our various events, Fundraising-that puts together our annual Walk-A-Thon, or Spirit Shack-that sells our famous Sundale sweatshirts and t-shirts! Also, join us the first Friday of the month at 8:30 for Parent Volunteer Day in the Parent Room where we have refreshments and a special guest speaker. This is a great place to meet other parents, get some parenting tips, and childcare is included! There is a place for YOU and ALL are welcome!

TA Announcements updated
S.S.C. (School Site Council) -3th Thursday of every month @ 2:30pm in the board room. A must for anyone who wants to be involved in decision making! Parents, staff and community members meet to discuss curriculum, safety issues, school finances, new staff and any special concerns. Anyone is welcome to attend, Babysitting will be provided free of charge for your school age students by our Latchkey program.

School Board -2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month @ 7:30pm in the board room. This meeting is for our School Board members, but is open to the public. They discuss business pertaining to inter-district students, school improvement projects, financial responsibilities, grants and any other needs. There is a written agenda, which is strictly followed. If you’d like to address the board, please submit your request (in writing) to the Superintendent, at least one week prior to the board meeting in order to be placed on the agenda. Board minutes are always posted on the bulletin board in the office.

EL/Migrant Programs -2nd Friday of the month, six times per year at 1pm.
Parents receive reminder phone calls for the meetings and whether or not there is a meeting that month. These meetings are very informative and instructive. Parents learn parental skills through a variety of topics presented each month. They also take information home about the resources available in the community.
