1. First through eight grade students may check out two items for their personal use. Items are due one week from their check out day. Students do not have to wait for their designated library times to exchange their materials. 2. Kindergarteners begin by coming in for story time and to learn how to handle and take care of library materials. They may check out one book. 3. A student with an item that is more than two weeks overdue may not check out additional materials until items are returned or fines have been paid. 4. The library does not charge daily overdue fines, but report cards will be held if fines have not been taken care of. 5. Community members are able to obtain a patron number and check out materials by filling out and signing a library card application available in the library. 6. Community members are able to check out four items for a one week period of time. 7. Library materials and other patrons must be treated with respect at all times. 8. Patrons using the library must keep their voices to a whisper at all times. There is no running or horseplay permitted in the library. 9. While searching for materials, please use the red plastic place markers, and make a conscious effort to keep the library shelves neat and in order. 10. There is no food or drinks allowed in the library. |
