Day Care for Sundale Students

Day Care for Sundale Students:

Unfortunately the California State Licensing Board will not allow the Foundation to operate a Day Care on our campus while we are closed. The HSSA-Wic program has a CARES Act grant to fund a free Day Camp until December 2020 and will allow Sundale to apply for a grant. This information about the grant was just offered to us yesterday. We are partnering with the Tulare County Office of Education and received the go ahead from the Tulare County Health Department for a “Day Camp” on our campus, this morning. The grant application has to be approved by the Tulare County Board of Supervisors before it goes we can move forward. While we are waiting, Sundale will only be able to offer “Day Camp” for the Sundale and Foundation staff. I do not know how long it will take for us to get this processed, but I know that the HSSA-Wic director would like to get it processed as soon as possible. Hang in there, Sundale and the Foundation are trying to find a way to support our families. I will keep you updated.

In the meantime, if you are interested, please contact me at terri.rufert@sundale.org or 559-688-7451. I will need to know the name of your child(ren), grade level(s), where you and your spouse (if applicable) work and what your position is.
