Hi and welcome to my website.  To tell you a little about me, I have been teaching since 2000.  I am married and have a son.  My favorite baseball team is the San Francisco Giants! I look forward to a wonderful school year!

Reading

It is very important to keep your child reading daily at home as well as focusing on comprehension.  Children at this age should be reading for at leaset 20 minutes or more. 

Homework

There is a no homework policy for this classroom. However, your child will have trimester goals for Accelerated Reader (AR). There will also be weekly goals/lessons that students will need to complete for Lexia and Dreambox.

Items Needed Throughout The Year

We are always in need of the following items:

* Hand Sanitizer- Gallon size or larger

* Ziploc Bags- snack, sandwich, quart freezer, gallon freezer

* Table Wipes: Clorox or Lysol

Character Counts

Character Counts at Sundale and in our classroom. Encourage your child to make good choices and have good character.
