Sundale School Principal

Greetings! I am Joy Farkas and I am excited to serve the Sundale students and community in my new role as principal. For those of you who don’t know me, I have been in education for 16 years, 13 of which have been spent here in this amazing school district. 

I would like to echo some of the important points that our superintendent, Mrs. Gist has highlighted about our school; including the importance we place on developing character in our students, providing the opportunity for a well rounded educational experience emphasizing academic excellence along with extracurricular activities, and our commitment to home/school communication.

Sundale is truly a special place! This is the result of years of insightful guidance from our board, inspired administration from our school leadership, and a commitment to excellence by our amazing staff. As principal it is my aspiration to continue and build on this amazing foundation.

Know that I am here to support your students, support our teachers, and assist our community in working together to provide an environment that will allow our students to achieve their goals, turn their dreams into realities, and prepare them for a successful future.
