Classroom Expectations / Rules / Procedures:
Late assignments are still accepted, however, the highest grade you can receive is a B+.
I do not allow REDO work anymore. Too many students either did not care to take advantage of this, or were too focused on redoing the work until it was 100%. At that point, I had some students become overly stressed out over receiving an A- or B+ grade.
I still do not give homework. Students need to take advantage of class time and attend The Stable in order to complete school work on time.
Reminder: AR is a large portion of their overall ELA grade. They must be reading daily and passing quizzes.
If a student is absent, they must be responsible and ask me for more time on any assignment.
If students do not put their name on their schoolwork, I will tape it to the NO NAME door. If they turn this work in late, it will then be considered "LATE."
Students are more than welcome to email me at brittany.grieb@sundale.org during the weekend or in the evening for help on any assignment. I will always respond if I am able.
When Mrs. Grieb grades schoolwork and hands it back to the student, the student is required to hold onto it (not throw it away) until that student sees it on a progress report.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
