If for some reason I do not respond to your email within 24 hours, please call the school and leave a message with your email.  Many times at the start of the year email will get blocked by our school filter and we need to break the firewall.

Reading

 Remember there are no restrictions on what they can read this year.  If you are struggling to find something you like, start with magazines that interest you.  Then write up an Article Summary Sheet and turn it in.  No one likes reading what they aren't interested in.  Challenge yourself to find something you LIKE.  Once you do, reading becomes a hobby not a chore!!  YOU CAN CHECK OUT EBOOKS FROM OUR SUNDALE LIBRARY OR THE COUNTY OFFICE

Request to Retake 

Everyone messes up, has a bad day, or just has a hard time with a certain concept.  You are always free to fill out a Request to Retake sheet and turn it in within 2 days of the test being handed back to receive approval to retake the test.  You must also think of ways you are going to put in to work to conquer the concept and show the proof the day of the make up!!

Make Up Work

If You Are Out....
Make-up work is required when a student has been absent.  Once the student returns, they are to retrieve any and all worksheets, homework, notes, etc. form the "While You Were Out Folder" in each of the 4 core classes (Lang. Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Math).  They then have 5 days from the date of return to turn in any missing assignments to the "Make-Up Work" bin located by my desk.  After the five days, all missing work will automatically turn to zeros in the grade book.  If you are in need of more time to complete the work, ASK!!!!
